Since the first two posts on January 5th, 2022, this marks 52 straight weeks (and over 40,000 words!) of Your Editor Friend letters.
I’ve touched on a broad range of writing and publishing topics over the past year, from evaluating feedback to approaching goals with curiosity to the submissions process to the different types of editing. No matter how long you’ve been reading, I hope that you’ve found at least one piece of advice that has been helpful and applicable to your own work.
If there’s a topic I haven’t covered or if you’d like to submit a question for me to consider answering in a future letter, please email me! I’d love to hear from you and I will continue posting answers to questions in Ask Your Editor Friend posts.
Beyond answering reader-submitted questions and sharing occasional updates, I’m going to be pausing these weekly letters in order to focus on other projects in the new year. If you’d like to be notified when new Ask Your Editor Friend letters or other updates are shared, please consider subscribing.
Whether you’ve been reading since the beginning or for a single week, thank you for being here. I’ve loved connecting with you through these letters and I sincerely appreciate everyone who has read, shared, and subscribed to them.
Your Editor Friend,
Julie
